Former Assistant Minister Son On Death Sentence Opens Up About His Alleged Plan To Eliminate His Family
Death row convict, David William “Billy” Tett denied ever planning to eliminate his family. David insists he is innocent of the charges he has been jailed for.
Speaking to KTN’s Dennis Onsarigo, David maintains he is innocent of the capital offense he has been charged with.
The adopted son of former legislator and assistant minister, Betty Tetty was found guilty of robbery with violence and was subsequently sentenced to death.
David narrates how he was carjacked by a gang who forced him to lead them to his mother’s home in Karen. He says the thugs used him as a shield to execute the crime after which they abandoned him in the trunk of the vehicle.

David’s claim however conflicts with his parent’s side of the story. His family accused him of liaising with the criminals to rob his family at gun point. All the witness present during the robbery said David knew the brutes so well as he perfectly collaborated with them to commit the heinous crime.
David is currently being held at Kamiti maximum prison where he is waiting for his exclusion (though the state does not kill death row convicts). Check out the videos below:
