Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua Publicly Put On The Spot Over Langata Land Grabbing Scandal

Last night, Janet Mbugua faced a team of “intellectuals” who made her work rather difficult to execute.

The hunter becomes the hunted! That was what transpired yester night on Citizen TV’s Monday Special when Janet Mbugua hosted a group of children leaders to discuss the Kenya they want.

Typically, an interviewer would expect to have an easy time when interviewing children. I mean they are not well informed and just naïve. Right? Totally wrong, one thing for sure, NEVER underestimate what those little ones can do.

The topic on the show ranged from Langata land grabbing saga to teachers’ strike. The children were asked to chip in their views regarding the same.

Janet Mbugua was put on the spot by the very children she was interviewing. She was caught off guard a couple of time when children actually turned the table to start asking her questions.

One child defended the action of his colleagues at Langata primary saying circumstances forced them to act so.

“I don’t support the way they resolved it but we as children we are ready to fight back when our rights are violated” the child uttered.

On teachers’ strike, the children condemned their tutors’ action of skipping work saying they were denying them their right to education.

“Janet Mbugua let me ask you. Imagine if you were denied education, would you be here today?” Patricia Kamene a child representing children with special needs asked.
