Mutai was arrested for highlighting corruption in government but he has reportedly been released. His arrest however set the social media ablaze with calls for his release reverberating across the internet.

Mohammed Ali was on the forefront advocating for Mutai’s release. He went a step further to repeatedly mock the government.

As if daring the government to arrest him isn’t enough, Ali went on to post a photo of him wearing Gor Mahia’s jersey saying he hoped he wouldn’t be arrested for undermining the government.
