We would start by saying Larry Madowo has a sister. Or just say Larry Madowo’s sister was celebrating her birthday the other day. Or simply say Larry Madowo’s sister ‘turned 16’ the other day. Whichever the opening words, the message is at home.

What I need to tell you is that Larry narrowly failed his sister on her birthday.
