Ghafla Exclusive: Why Dennis Okari Left BBC and Went Back to NTV

As 2014 came to a close, so did Dennis Okari’s tenure at BBC. Dennis left BBC and went back to NTV where now acts as an Investigative Editor, a position higher than the one he held at the company previously.

Questions have been raised as to why Dennis left BBC, but an NTV insider reveals that Dennis found the travelling too hectic as he did not get to spend time with his daughter who is now about seven months old and his young fiancée. He did not want to be an absentee father and husband.

The source further adds that Dennis found it easy to work at BBC but things changed when his daughter came into his life and he did not want to stay away from her, so he went back to NTV.

Many people prefer to chase the money and fame but for Okari, family was more important to him and he didn’t want to miss out on the milestones of his growing daughter.
