A week after we aired and exposed the situation at GBS, where we wrote an in-depth account of the rot that was happening at the GBS firm. You can read it here.

I made a follow up by calling some of my informers who still work at GBS,  X  would tell me that the management had the article but had not acted upon it, if anything  the situation had worsened. Salaries  have still not been paid since August and from the look of things the management has no intention of making the payments soon, or ever.

The GBS directors have laid down rules that limit the workers from any kind of action, my sources reveal that whoever demands for pay is fired immediately and without notice. The junior African managers are also help in contempt by the Korean Directors,they are humiliated openly and are sometimes slapped before their juniors.

GBS has made it impossible for its workers to have a voice. The workers are fired at will perpetuating an age old custom of theirs, firing and hiring at will while making the same vague promises to the new recruits.

Owing to the state of unemployment in the country, the workers have chosen to work subserviently hoping for a better day, some have resorted to getting loans with a promise that they will pay as soon as GBS pays their dues. Four Months later, GBS Hasn’t paid, and Won’t pay until someone takes action.
