Exciting; Pay TV Sets a New Competitive Edge

 

Pay Television Company StarTimes has launched the brand’s Direct to Home (DTH) which is bound to increase the number of television channels to Kenyan subscribers.

The brand which is known as StarSat will be providing a country wide signal coverage for satellite pay television service. StarSat will contain unique features key among them a decoder which can use battery bound for areas without electricity connection. The introduction of the satellite television service is a move aimed at giving Kenyans increased access to affordable pay television service using the latest broadcast technology while availing a rich local, regional and international channel offering.

Here are the bouquets that StarSat is offering: Special Bouquet at Ksh. 899 per month with access to over 48 channels, Smart Bouquet at Ksh. 1,799 per month with access to over 70 channels, Super Bouquet at Ksh. 2,499 per month with access to over 88 channels and the Chinese bouquet at Ksh. 1,499 per month with access to 12 channels. It bouquets offered are affordable to the Kenyan population; I guess it is time we bid a complete good bye to analog broadcasting as there is just more to get from digital platform.
