Rights Activist Boniface Mwangi Implores FIFA to Ban Football Body

Kenya Football Federation chairman Sam Nyamweya got on the wrong foot of activist Boniface Mwangi and the result; you all know what it is.

Well known for his zero tolerance to corruption and strong stance against underperforming leaders, Boniface could no longer stand Nyamweya’s alleged poor performance and decided to crack a whip on him. Boniface accuses Nyameya for the dwindling performance of the national team and for his corrupt practices; he alleges that country’s football needs reform.

The activist may actually be right, seems Nyamweya’s move to ban the national team without actually reforming the football body itself too was not a wise move, change has to come from all quarters and if Harambee Stars are to qualify for any future tournaments, then more needs to be done.

A few years ban by FIFA is better than letting Nyamweya continue destroying Kenya football. After all we never qualify.
