House of Lungula Does Something No Other Kenyan Movie Has Done

Historia Films and Mo Moviez will soon be launching the DVD of the Kalasha winner for Best Script “House of Lungula”!

This will be on Saturday the 9th of August 2014, 2P.M at Mo Moviez Outlet in Prestige Plaza, Nairobi

The DVD will be available from the morning of that day. At 2pm members of the cast and crew will give a press conference in order to give more details about the DVD as well as about their next projects. Autograph signing of the DVDs will also take place.

The DVD will be sold in these outlets:

1) Mo Moviez at Prestige Plaza.

2) Text Book Center at The Junction, TRM Mall, Galleria and Sarit Center.

3) Selected Naivas Supermarkets (Westelands, Kasarani, Kitengela etc).

The DVD is coming with two extra language features that will allow you to watch the full movie in LUO and KIKUYU! That’s the first time that something like that has been done by a local film and it looks to be a game changer for the local industry! FILM SYNOPSIS

Harrison Hamisi, overworked and underpaid is looking for money for bride price. A ‘business’ opportunity presents itself when he gets the keys to the Company House. With the CEO away on holiday, he has access to a vacant fully furnished house. He decides to cash in… Easy money doesn’t always come cheap.
