From the dingy street of Rive road to Nakuru town, people are still watching the film and actually enjoying it and recommending it to their friends with reports indicating that this is probably one of the most watched films. Turns out the banning of the film made it cooler and people are still tolerating sitting through the 3 hours that it takes to watch it.The box office may be losing out but the pirates are have struck gold since it is now being peddled on the streets for a throw away price of a 100 or 50 bob.
The movie is based on a memoir by the stockbroker Jordan Belfort, who founded the investment firm Stratton Oakmont in a Long Island garage and spent much of the Nineties gaining fortune through dishonest ways. The film follows Belfort’s fast rise to the top, the drugs,the debauchery, 569 variations of the F-word and the unending supply of girls.
