House Of Lungula Actress Campaigns Against People With Zero Talent Getting Jobs Based On Looks
A few years ago, a local program aired and it had the largest number of beautiful people in one place and the set, lighting and picture quality were amazing. I was pulled in like a moth to light.
But Alas!I regretted as soon as I tuned in as 98% of the characters were bland and boring and their acting skills left a lot to be desired save for a few characters. In summary the program was an epic fail and the only way one could watch it was on mute. The one in charge of casting seemed to have hired the people based solely on their looks and ability to speak English. Don’t get me wrong, looking good is great but having actual talent is even better. These were sentiments echoed by one of the most brilliant women I have seen on screen, Liz Njagah Konstantaras
Casting is a very important part of a movie; one casting mistake can change the whole tone of a movie. Casting people cause they look pretty but can’t act is an epic fail if you ask me. You are better off going with talent than looks. Anyone can be made to look pretty with the right make up, clothes and lighting. (Just google before and after pictures) If you find both “looks” and talent. Good for you.
