Brenda Wairimu In Mnet’s New Soap Opera!

We had announced earlier that an exciting,authentic local drama was making its debut on your Tv screens.The show called KONA made its debut on Monday and is expected to air 250 episodes over a period of one year.

Pint sized actress Brenda Wairimu is part of the main cast ,she will play the role of Pamela alongside talented Nini Wacera who plays Julia her sister.The alluring actress Brenda first burst into the limelight  playing Shariffa a young lady living a double life.She then showed her prowess in acting  playing Lulu an opinionated spoilt girl in Kenya’s first sopa opera Mali.Brenda has also played Nick Mutuma’s love interest Dallah in the second season of MTV Series Shuga.

The KONA series was launched last  at Crowne Plaza where guests were treated to a welcome cocktail, an enormous boxing ring and good music.The Director, Biola Alabi  says that it has been a  long hard journey of two years to bring you Kona .He says that it was worth the trouble and that “It’s not only a story about dreams, it’s about love and family.”
