Have You Watched The Gang-Rape Investigative Piece? Will We Allow This To Continue? Demand Justice Now!
I have just watched the documentary in this article written by my colleague Jeff Omondi and I became physically ill! That is no exaggeraation. I actually suffered a rather violent vomit session. I cannot imagine anyone I know and care about being raped.
And yet in Dandora, gang rape is a reality for girls and ladies. Rape is such a vile act that it robs more than just the victim of their innocence and purity, many a time it robs them of their will to live. And then Robert Alai comes to mind with his callous tweet about raping Kileleshwa residents.
But away from that, watch the video and listen to the pain in the little girl’s voice as she talks about her gang rape ordeal! Read between the lines and empathize. When I was 13, FIFA 2002 was the only problem i had. Metal Gear solid aswell. But these young girls are being brazenly dragged out of matatus and being raped!
Does no one feel what I do? Is no one angry about this tragic truth? These girls are being defiled! They are being violated! Whenever I go out, when someone dares to touch one of my female companions wrong and they complain, I usually go ballistic! It is in my nature to protect women! I am outraged at the fact that these 13 yr old girls have no one to protect them! don’t we have a government? Do we not pay taxes? Do we not have a police force?
Are these girls not Kenyan? Are they not human? And the perpetrators of such heinous, savage and despicable acts are little silly boys aged north of 13yrs old and south of 18yrs old! They haven’t even sat their national exams yet!
Speak up and defend your daughters! Defend your sisters. Speak up against this gang rape! But do you know the kicker? The local area Chief Monica Waithera says she knows of everything but she as the local representative of the central government is powerless against the local yobs! What?
