Chinua Achebe Laid To Rest (Photos)
Renowned Nigerian writer Chinua Achebe was finally laid to rest Thursday in his home country Nigeria. A funeral service was held for late Professor Chinua Achebe at Ogidi in southeast Nigeria where he hailed from.
Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Ghanaian president John Mahama led dignitaries to bid farewell to the late Professor. Achebe’s remains were buried in a mausoleum in his country home after a funeral service at the St. Phillip’s Anglican Church, Ogidi, Anambra State.
