DPP Opposes The Release Of The Suspect in Dog P0rn Case
The Dog P0rn0graphy scandal has just taken a new twist after the Director of Public Prosecutions, Keriako Tobiko, moved to the High Court in Mombasa to oppose the release of the main suspect in the case, Christopher Weissenrieder.
The DPP opposed Weissenrieder’s release on a KSh 1 million bond yesterday evening holding that the suspect is a “flight risk”. This comes jjust hours after the DPP took over the case and added the charge of “Unnatural act with a dog” in other words, bestiality.
In the same breath, the suspect has also filed an application seeking to have the amount reduced claiming he can’t afford. Both matters will be heard today.
