What’s The Connection Between Tujuane & Lies That Bind (Part Two)

If you read the first article, the connecction of course is Isaac Gabantu, who acts as the social media manager for both shows. Well below is my interview with him, in his own words.

My name is Isaac Gabantu. Ugandan by nationality, I went to prymary school in both Uganda and Kenya. For high school, he again schooled in both Kenya and Tanzania. Final lap was in Kenya where I was home schooled, and did my form 2, 3 and 4 in one year. I am currently pursuing my communications degree in Daystar University.

My First Job, was a radio presenter when I was 15 years, in Dar es salaam for Morning Star Radio for a whole year. Ran my own 1 hour show, Generation NeXt. I then joined Sketch Careers, a career development company I ran with a close pal just after high school. I was 19 years then and ranked as youngest General Manager in Kenya.
I later joined hands with Waihiga Mwaura to birth Zinduka Interactive, a media students forum aimed towards arming them with info they need in order to make sound and informed career choices. Zinduka interactive is what I do to give back to society. For the year it has existed we have made no profit but continued to invest and you can be sure we are happy and fulfilled. If we died today, just like the humming bird, we would have done the best we can do with in the resources available

I then met award winner and talented executive producer, Dorothy Ghettuba. She gave me an opportunity at Spielworks media as a social media manager and strategist.
I currently manage accounts to several clients including Chichi seii and the famous TV Program, Tujuane. I am great at networking; I am a people person, taking after my name Gabantu which means “ a man of the people”

Why do I wanna be a news anchor? Ever came across the saying choose a career you love and you wont have to work for a day? Every day for you is a fulfilment of your purpose. That is what being a news anchor is for me, not fame. I believe I am famous already, at least within the circles I matter. I desire to tell stories that will positively impact society.
