New John Kiriamiti Movie To Cost A Whooping 35 Million Bob!

So yesterday, Uncle Chim revealed that a Nigerian has been selected to play the lead role. Jim Lyke y’all know, is a Nollywood star of repute and that decison was reached for one particular reason. Money will be poured in, and they have to recoup it.

So yes I found out a few things: A 35 million budget has been drafted, and is said to be the largest ever on a local production. It is to cater for Internatinational rates for cast&crew, as well as the expenses accrued from recreating locations depicting the period of the 70’s Jack Zollo; My life in crime.

The script of My life in crime was reworked 7 times! The screen-play was written by Serah Mwihaki and Loyce Kareri. Incidentally, John Kiriamiti reveaed that the book depicts a life he actually led and is thankful he’s alive to tell it. He wrote the book as a form of therapy, because the experiences were screaming to be let out. When the book was published, he was moved to solitary confinement!

What else don’t you know about this film? It will be a feature Film based on three novels written by John Kiriamiti’s My Life in Crime, My Life with a Criminal, and My Life in Prison. It shall be produced by produced by Janet Kirina, Neil Schell and Lucy Chodota. It will be directed by Neil Schell.
