K24’s Network Now Poaches A Top Sports Journalist!

Renowned sports journalist Milton Nyakundi had taken a break from media for a while after a stint at KBC.

He took a break so as to venture into politics. He vied for the seat of speaker of the Nairobi county assembly, but his attempts were futile. Now he’s back in the newsroom, but for the People Daily, which is the print arm of Mediamax, which is the parent company of K24, and owned by President Uhuru Kenyatta. He released the news in the following statement:

“I can now reveal that today, exactly 14 months since I quit from KBC, marks my return to mainstream media as it is my first day of work at Mediamax where I have taken up a new challenge as a Sports Sub for The People Daily. I am humbled at the opportunity to join the country’s fastest growing media organization and I look forward to the growth of the brands that Mediamax has established namely K24, Milele FM, Kameme FM, Meru FM, among others; those become my brands and for you out there, I welcome you aboard and you’ll seen not just read my pieces but also watch and listen to me on the greatest stations of the moment.
