Jalang’o gives his touching, yet hilarious piece on the matatu strike situation

For those who don’t own a car, I know exactly what you are going through. It is hell. I actually have no idea how I’ll be getting home tonight as I type down this article.

Jalang’o, had this to say to his fans today morning through his facebook profile. Read carefully.

“Yes i have a car and i drove to work this morning..i drove below 80km per hour,it was still dark so my headlights were on….my insurance is updated and my seat belts were on! i made sure i kept my lane and dint drive on the pavement but more so i was sober……Yes i know you walked to work this morning because you haven’t been blessed with a car yet..i know and pray that you get one soon… you got to work late and the boss warned you and you risk loosing your job but worse you are tired and you still don’t know how you will go home….let me tell you you cant compare what you are going through with what might have happened this morning…this morning you would have boarded a bus in Githurai…To psyche himself for the day driver takes a shot of some illicit brew..then steps on the gas..you don’t have your belts on and the makanga is dangerously dangling on the door…the speed in this 60 seater bus is now at 140km|h and in the cockpit is a drunkard! you are lucky you make it past Ruaraka and the traffic slows you down..the driver decides that you are in a hurry and decides to overlap but everyone has been overlapping so he cant move and he decides to take a u turn on the highway to try change lane…….you know what follows after this! 3000 people die every year on our roads,3000 people half of them are breadwinners that translates to more than 1000k families left in the cold……I SUPPORT THE NEW LAWS! IF THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, THE BETTER,YOU WILL BEHAVE WELL SO AS NOT TO PAY…IF YOU’VE NEVER LOST A FAMILY MEMBER IN AN ACCIDENT THEN SHUT UP! REST IN PEACE DAD!”
