CONFIRMED: Raiyaa Changes Format & Moves to NTV

There have been rumors that Raiyaa might move to NTV. Rapcha the Sayantist, one of the hosts, has confirmed that the show has now found a new home at the network.

Rapcha, who co-hosts with Mwafrika, had earlier said that he cannot confirm if the show will move from its last home, K24, but it has come to pass. The show will now air every Friday at 7:30 and go head-to-head with Mashtaka on Citizen TV. Initially, it aired every weekday at 6:50 p.m. on K24.

Raiyaa started off as short Web-based show and later the clips started airing on  K24 where they found a larger audience. At the 24-hour news network, it still aired in its original short clip format. At NTV, Raiyaa has been re-formatted into a 30-minute show.
