What’s Your Take On Julie Gichuru and Linus Kaikai?

Earlier in the day my colleague Uncle Chim Tuna told you about the groundbreaking presidential aspirants’ debate. As the press conference was underway, Kenyans were (and still are) busy online debating who they thought should headline the three debates.

Whereas Citizen TV’s senior anchor, Julie Gichuru and NTV’s Managing Editor, Linus Kaikai were the ultimate choice, Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) suggested other prominent TV personalities who they thought were equal to the task. Some of the names suggested included actor (best known internationally for his role in The Constant Gardener) and journalist John Sibi Okumu, CCTV’s Beatrice Marshall and former KTN veteran anchor Njoroge Mwaura. Other names that were proposed included Peter Opondo and Kathleen Openda-Mvati.

And there were even funnier suggestions. Take a look;
