Vote for Your Best Social Media Personality

For the last two years social media activity in Kenya has been on the rise thanks to people’s interest to network. Well, someone has realized this and decided to create a reward mechanism for all the big shots on the Kenyan social media scene.

Named the Kenya Social Media Awards (SoMA), the event will honor the who-is-who in social media. Social media enthusiasts, Marketing and Communication managers and Information Technology experts are among those who will be taking part where the best among them in terms of contribution and impact will be rewarded.

SoMA will focus on the three most popular social media forums, Facebook, Twitter and blogs. The public will be invited to nominate their favorite social media personalities in the different categories. The proposed candidates will then be shortlisted and presented to the public for voting.

The event will be held on 10th November 2012 at the Serena Hotel, Nairobi.
