It’s never been simpler to promote your peace video and win Sh. 50, 000
The election period is approaching fast and judging by the cruel incidents unfolding in Tana, we didn’t learn a thing from the PEV in 2008. Sad story really, but you can now take matters into your own hands. You might just be able to pull a few people or more into peace.
U Film It have taken the initiative of creating a peace campaign that is structured to make the citizens take full part in its activities aiming towards peaceful times, hoping to curb the violence that is currently brewing and that that may be approaching, if not taken care of. The campaign is called ‘KEEP THE PEACE’ and intends to spread the peace message all over Kenya, using its citizens conjoined efforts.
To participate in this campaign, all you have to do is create a video of you talking about peace, its importance and what it means to you. Do not hold back at all. let it all out, put your soul and passion for peace in it. How else are you going to convince the rest of the citizens that violence will only take us some few years back? This video can be shot by any device of your choice and at your exposure. It could be a mobile phone, laptop, camcorder, anything at your disposal. Make sure the video does not go for more than three minutes.
Once you have created the short video, upload the video clip to the U Film It video contest site www.ufilmit.co.ke and invite your friends and the world to watch the video, share it and leave comments. The most inspirational peace messages will be awarded cash prizes with the winner bagging Sh. 50,000. Other cash prizes are Sh. 25,000 and Sh. 15,000 for 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
You must however, be a registered member of U Film It or have a Twitter account to upload or submit a video.
Let’s join in and spread the love for peace. Sitting at home and praying all day without taking even a little bit of action will not help much. Be a part of this and contribute to your country, and make some cash while at it.
