Last Call to Film Makers

The biggest film event in the country, the Kenya International Film Festival (KIFF) has put out a last call to film makers worldwide to submit their entries for the 7th Edition of the fete.

As stated by the director of the festival, Charles Asiba, filmmakers have until September 17 to submit their entries for the event taking place on October 24th to November 3rd of this year. “We are pleased so far with the number of films we have received and we want to call upon filmmakers who want their films screened at our festival to send in their films as soon as possible,” Asiba said.

This year’s theme is “The Classics” and it aims at reminiscing and rekindling fond memories. This year’s festival will be held in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. So far, the film fair has attracted 300 films from 45 different countries and is expected to screen a total of 360 films from 50 countries.

The Kenya International Film Festival (KIFF) acclaims filmmakers from all over the world and fetes them after identifying exemplary acts and achievements in the film sector.
