Catch the Best Action Films At Star Flix Prestige This Weekend

The highly anticipated blockbuster, Total Recall will be showing tonight at the Star Flix cinemas at Prestige Plaza on Ngong’ Road. You can catch the show daily from 2:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

Total Recall is a remake of the 1990 adaptation of a Philip K. D**k novel which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. Colin Farell takes up the role of a factory worker who realizes he might be a spy after enrolling in Rekall, a program that provides clients with a desired alternative life through brain chips.

The action packed film also stars Kate Beckinsale, who you might remember as the vampire slayer on Underground. Jessica Biel, from the ’90s TV show, Seventh Heaven and movies such as Stealth, The A-Team and Blade Trinity also appears. One of the finest TV actors of our time from one of the best TV shows of all time, Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) plays the villain.

The Dark Knight Rises will share screen with Total Recall at 11:00 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. On Screen 2, you can catch the fourth installment of Ice Age, Continental Drift at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The testosterone-filled actioner, Expendables 2 will show at 5:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

Expendables 2 gathers some of the baddest, manliest and toughest actors in film history: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger…okay, you get the drift.
