True Blood Actress Coming to Kenya to Shoot Documentary
True Blood actress, Kristen Bauer van Stratten is expected in the country this month. The artiste is coming to Kenya to shoot a documentary on poaching. The documentary will specifically deal with rhino horn and elephant ivory poaching. She is expected to stay in the country for weeks during the course of the shoot.
She needs to raise funding for the project, though. She has raised $20,000 of the $30,000 she needs on Kickstarter. To entice people to sign up for the project, she is giving out True Blood castmates-signed merchandise to selected funders. An interesting item that is yet to be claimed is a Sookie bra. Although her Kickstarter target is $30,000, the project will cost about $90,000.
Kristen, who plays Pam on True Blood, is taking the project very personally. “The documentary world is a passionate world of people wanting to do something for their soul. Hopefully my soul will be very enriched, because my bank account is suffering,” she said.
