5 LESSONS LEARNT FROM BBA STAR GAME!
BBA Star Game is finally over and Prezzo was this year’s runners up.
But what are the lessons Africa has learnt from the game? Let’s have a look at the 5 lessons i have picked up from this Big Brother Cycle:
#5 Kenya is East Africa’s roaring lion!
I loved the fact that when Kenya asked for help, the rest of East Africa obliged. That simply meant that we had a bigger bargaining chip than just arriving on our own.
Tanzania had our back and so did Uganda when their own wasn’t up for eviction. This is no mean feat given that it got Prezzo to the runners up slot!
#4 In Africa, South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya are the opinion shapers!
And while this is invaluable information for marketer but also for anyone in the entertainment industry. To get to the Southern African area, you need to get South Africa on board, ditto Nigeria and Kenya.
#3 Money makes people do strange things!
Alex put his own countryman up for evictionand when defending himself the only thing he said that made sense is that BBA is a game in which you try to do whatever you can to get money.
Money, money, money. Zainab wanted to use her “feminine charm” to get the money and it would have worked had she not gotten herself slapped then subsequently booted from BBA.
And Prezzo did something cruel by my estimation; he played the Nigerian lass Goldie. i understand that he was playing the game but what he did cost her Nigeria and in effect West Africa at large.
#2 Out of sight is out of mind!
Seydou got unfairly booted from the show when his partner buckled under pressure and that left Talia to Keagan and we all so the scenario develop between Keagan and her till it culminated on Saturday…
It must have sucked to be Seydou hearing your erstwhile comrades such as Wati declare that you are a nonentity as far as the lass you want is concerned. Seydou couldn’t stomach it and issued an emotional and pained letter issuing his resignation from #TeamTalia.
#1 Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!
Zainab attempted to scald DKB after she got herself slapped but Prezzo restarined her and Maneta the hell-bat splashed bleach on Roki’s face in retaliation for him pouring water on her.
That just goes to show that not even hell hath the fury in a woman’s bossom when she’s feeling scorned!
