American R&B Music Sensation Set To Perform For the First Time Ever On the African Continent and Nairobi Is the Venue
Carnivore Grounds will this weekend be the venue for one of the hottest RnB concerts in the country.
The Freddie Jackson ‘You Are My Lady’ concert will go down at the 17th of October at the famous Carnivore grounds brought to you by Cherry XXI in association with Classic 105, Chivas Regal, Chase Bank and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts Kenya.
Kidum and his Boda Boda band will raise the curtain for what promises to be an extraordinary evening while R&B music legend Freddie Jackson will headline the show.

After almost 4 decades in the music industry, Freddie Jackson continues to draw a tremendous audience of R&B music lovers around the world.
Early on in his career, Freddie became the voice of the “Grown and Sexy” by singing some of the world’s most memorable music. Whether it was time to dance or time for romance, Freddie has earned the title as a one of R&B soul’s most valuable contributors, by performing his long resume of pure timeless music.
Freddie Jackson’s forte is sophisticated, romantic soul ballads aimed at adult audiences, but he is also capable of tackling urban contemporary dance fare and even the occasional jazz tune. His peers include – the Late Luther Vandross, Anita Baker and Peabo Bryson, etc.
The concert event will begin with a curtain raiser performance from African Music Icon and winner of the 2012 Kora Award, Kidum and his Boda Boda Band. Kidum’s secular but spiritual songs range from rocking zouk to acoustic classics, all featuring his distinct vocal prowess.
Rounding out the evening with some hot deck action will be DJ D-Lite, while Classic 105’s Maina Kageni calls the shots as MC.
