Samsung Introduces TPF App

Samsung Electronics (EA) wants to get in on the Tusker Project Fame action. The electronics giant has inked a deal with East African Breweries Limited to provide software and hardware for the reality singing competition.

Samsung has provided Galaxy Tablets and the Galaxy Pocket handset for use by the contestants, faculty and live broadcast hosts. The audience and production team now have a TPF5 app. Samsung is trying to maximize on the interactivity of their products from the tabs, phones and smart TVs.

The students and teachers will interact using the Galaxy Pocket phones and tablets to eliminate the need for paper during assignments. The judges are also expected to use the tablets when making decisions. The crew will be able to communicate and edit scripts for the hosts in real time during the broadcasts.

It doesn’t end there. The contestants will also receive digital and still Samsung cameras to document their progress in the TPF house. Samsung will also provide the air conditioning systems during the live shows.
