A Documentary on J.M Kariuki’s life is out
It was so surprising how talented movie director Ndungi Githuku was able to come up with a detailed documentary of the late J.M Kariuki’s life who was assassinated in late 60s.
The documentary premiered at the Alliance Francaise on 9Th this month to a fully packed auditorium. The audience were angered with the many unresolved political injustice.
The director Githuki said that he was amazed that KBC had no footage of Kariuki as he relied mostly on the newspaper and photos of him in order to come up with the film.
His sources was mainly from friends, relatives and colleagues who knew him very well whom include Chief justice Willy Mutunga, her daughter Rosemary Machua and Wanyiri Kihoro among other influential people.
The documentary will be screened in schools, colleges and universities and will also be available on DVD for people to see.
