Shuga:Love Sex & Money, to play on MTV Base!

It’s the Award winning three part Kenyan series that all the youths love so much, mainly because it’s about Love, Sex and Money(don’t we all just love that combination?).

Shuga, produced in Kenya, will premier on

MTV Base and Pay-TV music from February 14th, 9:30PM.

The story is about the love games, sexual behaviors and hustle for mulla among the Kenyan youth in Nairobi, with an aim of sending a strong mesage about HIV/ADIS. What better way to send this message to the ‘entertainment-addicted’ youths than the fabulous fast life movies?

Shuga is directed by award winning South African director Teboho Mahlatsi together with Kenyan co-director Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Ayira in the series.

This series has new storylines like transactoinal sex, rape and homosexuality, and even feature celebrities like Avril ,Anto neosoul and Vallerie Kimani in the cast.
