Binyavanga Wainana Breaks Necks As He Shows Up In A Dress And Make Up (Photos)

When it comes to dresses, Binyavanga rocks them in world abandon. Not even the constant criticism on social media and getting berated rather harshly will stop him from hitting events in whatever her wants. He wears what he damn pleases; yes he is unapologetic like that.

And at the ‘Africa Is Out’ LGBT event held in New York he stepped out in an outfit that got all the attention, a hideous sack-like frock.

I am no fashion Guru but I would prefer the tutu and fur over this Wizard of Oz meets akorino dress .Anyhow, the dress was created by Siphokazi Dana, Singer Simphiwe Dana’s younger sister. While the hat was donated by Frankie Edozien with ALBERT SAKHAI DESIGNS ,INC as the designers.

He however preferred to trim his own beard and herd a MUA named Donica did his make-up.

The highlight of the night was not the messy outfit but he met Janelle-Freaking-Monae! And what’s more she commended him for the work he has done for the LGBT community in Africa. He also got to hang out with model Christi Turlington.
