Fashion Diary:Meet The 22 Year Old Fashion Designer Who Is Making Ripples In The Philippines

Kenyan Designer, Arnold Mureithi, a 22 year old bundle of creativity is doing what other designers have been unable to do all  their lives. He has made it to an  international platform and is slowly winning hearts in the fashion circles.

The fourth year student has fallen in love with making gowns, it is all he does, he would tell me ” I am a free spirited, non-conformist earthling who wants to make the world a beautiful place with my gowns, My work is inspired by architecture, surrealness and absurdity. sometimes geometry and Nature too…”

The young designer is the genius behind the gowns that Miss Earth Kenya is wearing all the way at the Philippines at an international platform. If this is not putting us on the map, I don’t know what is. 

Lydiah Manani is the Miss Earth Kenya contestant who is representing Kenya at the Philippines. Miss Earth is one of the 3 biggest pageants in the world that that are meant to promote environmental awareness. Winners get to create awareness through school tours, tree planting activities, street campaigns, coastal clean ups, speaking engagements, shopping mall tours, media guesting, environmental fair, storytelling programs, eco-fashion shows, and other environmental activities
