This What Jaguar Had to Say About Young Kids as Young as 8 Years Old Who Are Deep Into Drug Abuse

Singer, Philanthropist, NACADA Director and Chairman Jaguar Foundation, Jaguar spent the better part of his Thursday afternoon in Mukuru Kwa Reuben slums moulding kids to be greater people in future.

Accompanied by Ahadi Kenya’s Cecilia Mwangi, model Bridget Shighadi, DJ Creme among others, they donated 100 pairs of shoes to the pupils of Gatoto Primary School and gave foodstuff to 60 families.

The school’s headmistress thanked Jaguar who has been supporting the school for the past 4 years and said that he is now family of the school.

Speaking to Ghafla! The NACADA Director said that children should be moulded into greater citizens at an early age because statistics indicate that most of them plunge into drug menace from as early as 8 years old.

Asked about the controversies dogging NACADA, Jaguar said, “That’s one parastatal that is doing nothing for the country”, adding, “you can’t fight drug menace through boardroom meetings and foreign trips.”

He went on to add, “I am working as Jaguar because the president appointed me because, he knew i could deliver. I won’t be counted among the failures of the current NACADA.”

He however hailed his Chairman John Mututho and fellow Director Sheikh Ngao for also working tirelessly towards fighting drug and substance abuse.
