We were once named ‘Africa’s ugliest’ and we ‘caught feelings’ because in our eyes the list was thoroughly erroneous and truth be told Kenyans look damn good.

But our spirits were appeased when we were named the ‘Kindest in Africa’. Now, we have another accolade coming our way that will make you proud to be Kenyan.

We have been unveiled as East Africa’s largest economy .This is according to a report by the Oxford Business Group(OBG),

The Report: Kenya 2016, produced by OBG revealed that Kenya’s economic outlook for the years ahead looks robust and Kenya is now the largest economy in East Africa.

This report was launched during the Kenya International Investment Conference (KIICO) 2015 today, as hundreds of high-level delegates gathered for the three-day conference (23-25 November) in Nairobi.

Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto officially inaugurated the Kenya International Investment Conference (KIICO).
