Maybe its the pope’s visit but Nairobi Millionaire Erastus Odhiambo Ngura popularly known as “Ediot” who is facing murder charges is apparently a reformed man.
Erastus is accused of shooting his 27 year old wife Lydia Wanjiru Irungu at their Buruburu home on the night of 12th December 2014.
Erastus was released on a Ksh. 3 million cash bail and traveled straight to his Migori home after leaving Industrial Area Remand Prison on Tuesday where he was being prayed for by pastors from his parents’ Catholic Church.
In his Facebook posts, Ediot who was known for his flamboyant lifestyle has been regularly quoting the scriptures and thanking God for his miracles.
Erastus returned to Nairobi this morning and was spotted at the JKIA on a domestic flight from Kisumu. His friends say that he will now spend much of his time taking care of his businesses which have suffered during his incarceration.
It is still not clear if he will now sell his famous Latitude Lounge Clubs in Buruburu and Kisumu now that he is saved.
Ediot also runs an IT consulting company and a real estate business.His case at the High Court is still ongoing.
