Jamaica’s most reliable entertainment site urbanislandz has just revealed that the young singer J Capri has passed away after being in an induced coma since her car accident.
J Capri crashed her white Mercedes Benz into a wall before overturning on November 22 along Barbican Road in Kingston, Jamaica. According to reports, she suffered grave injuries including a fractured skull which resulted to brain damage.
She was rushed to hospital where she underwent surgery and put in an induced coma and days later we were informed that her condition was stable despite the nasty death rumors.
Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries today.
JCapri was known for hits such “Wine and Kotch”, “Pull Up To Mi Bumpa”, “Reverse It” and recently “Boom and Ben Over”.
She will be greatly missed by her horde of dance hall fans in our country. May she rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this trying time.
