After Firing Practically the Whole Team, These Are the New Faces of K24

“You are fired!” are probably words that have become common in the halls of the company that owns K24, Media Max.

This year alone has seen the likes of Belinda Obura,Tom Mboya, Massawe Jappani and Dr Ofweneke sent home.

Now K24 has decided to relaunch and renowned news anchor Mwanaisha Chidzuga is part of the new team, alongside Maya Hayakawa a popular actress and radio presenter, the hardworking Amina Abdi , Hassan Mugambi ,Nancy Onyancha among others.

Aside from the new team, K24 is expected to unveil new ostentatious studios on the top floors at DSM Place. Speaking to People Daily, Kiswahili news anchor and the Managing Editor of Broadcasting, Franklin Wambugu said that the studio will be “…bigger, can accommodate more guests; the touch screen, news screen, make it even more attractive and, generally, the facilities make it a better environment.”

The new studio is expected to give them an edge over the competition with CEO Ian Fernandes saying “No studios of this caliber have been seen before in Kenya”
