Men; Is This Why Friend Zone is Dreaded? #StoryLab

 ‘Let’s just be Friends’. Four words that men do not appreciate to hear, but 4 words that each of us as ladies have said to one chap or the other. Ladies, give me the chance to educate our men as to when we use these magical words. First and foremost, men you need to realize just because you like a woman, it doesn’t NOT mean they like you back. My office is male-dominated, now from the interactions I have in this office and life in general, the Lord gave men egos and self-confidence for days!! But this simple thing missed in their wooing women lessons.

We friend-zone you in this instances;

• We are not interested in you
• We are not interested in you.
• We are NOT interested in you.

It’s that simple.

But men chill in the friend-zone trying at any given opportunity to climb over that wall. Being in the friend-zone can be really frustrating and heart-wrenching. But men, you keep yourself in that box. See, any relationship is give-take referred to as Social Exchange Theory. You (dude), entered this relationship and allowed unequal terms, you gave and gave and gave…but didn’t ask what you wanted in return. So by the time you woke up…the lady has mentally put you in the ‘friends’ box.

Rare are moments that you will actually escape the friend-zone and become a boyfriend, lover, FWB etc…but they actually do happen.
