Nakuru will be hosting an Afro-Pop event come next month that will see top acts and talents across Music, Art & Fashion being celebrated. ‘Afro Pop’ is a term sometimes used to refer to contemporary African pop music but doesn’t specifically refer to a specific style or sound.
This event will premiere on the 7th of March 2015 at the Kivu Retreat, aiming to be one of the finest and most anticipated musical event in Nakuru and beyond. It will be a day to appreciate the significance of music in our respective cultures, and to salute the many ways that music, brings people together. Music has the power to heal, connect, and inspire.
