Mdundo Music Award Cypher Goes Viral
Mdundo Awards is a yearly award show rewarding the most downloaded songs in Kenya. The nominees are based on the downloads from Kenya’s biggest music platform, Mdundo.com.
Seven different awards will be handed out to the most downloaded Song, Male, Female, Group, Hiphop Song, Gospel Song and Local Pop Song. Kenya has tons of talented and professional artists and with the initiative Mdundo aims to launch a completely objective award show purely based on downloads from the fans.
The event is an invite only event for top Kenyan artists and it will take place 1st May where all the awards will be handed out live on stage.
