At the heart of Kenyan Football is a concept known as euphoria, one that dictates a duty to engage emotionally in the life of the team in order to impact positively on its performance. Local fans have proven time and again, that this is a sport so dearly cherished by them that it is almost only paralleled by politics in the country.

Enter the Kenya Power Charity Cup, an annual charity football tournament that aims to promote sporting activities among the youth around the country and an important contributor in creating a sense of community amongst fans.The one day event has earned credibility as a modern platform for the emergence of a new sense of euphoria especially on the digital front (Facebook, Twitter and SMS Voting Systems)and seeks top teams from the Kenya Premier League and Division One with the highest number of votes, as selected by fans through a voting system,to battle it out for the coveted Cup and a cash prize of Ksh. 1 Million.

Fans are encouraged to participate by voting for their favorite teams from the following eligible teams by sending the name of that team to the number 30300.

The 4 teams with the highest number of votes by the 22nd January 2104 will play in the Charity Cup tournament scheduled for 2nd February 2014 at Nyayo National Stadium – the more you vote, the higher your team’s chances. Vote! Vote! Vote – and tell a friend.
