The Philosophy Behind Mtaa Challenge, What Drives Juliani

Here is a chance to join the RBG Republik. “The RED BLACK and GREEN REPUBLIK, is your, my and our identity.” This is Juliani’s guiding philosophy behind all his initiatives from Kama Si SiSi to the Mtaa Challenge now in season 2.

It’s about a Kenyan who has resolved to get involved and to take back the ‘Kenya-ness’ our pride, our identity clearly portrayed in the colors of our flag, our values, our aspirations.

The ideal RepubliKen is characterized by a commitment to distance oneself from un-progressive politics and tribalism, who has chosen to contribute to the betterment and development of Kenya and its people, is involved with social political activities in their country, a hard working, selfless, independent, patriotic individual who upholds the rule of law.

Mtaa Challenge is not another workshop; it is about you being the change agent creatively and getting rewarded for it.

The Mtaa Challenge (Season 2) was launched last Saturday morning at creative space Pawa 254. All youth in Nairobi are invited to join in the competition. All you have to do is sign up at mtaatour.com or by SMS 20540 (with name and route #).
