Nenda!

Valentine Ziki started her career in entertainment as an actress but has branched out into other avenues like music. She blends afro-fusion with Neo-Jazz to bring out a fresh, unique and distinct sound.

Her music bears the style of other African artistes that came before her, she admired and listened to. Ziki describes her creative process as both experiential and introspective. Her inspirations include Eric Wainaina, Suzzana Owiyo, Corrine Bailey Rae, Judith Sephuma and Freshly Ground among others.

She is currently concentrating on putting out new music and promoting previous material. She is planning to release her first album later this year. Below, you can check out her first single, Nenda, which received favorable reviews.
