Camp Mulla’s Funky town album launches tomorrow, Saturday 22nd September.

It will be available in all Nakumatt and Uchumi outlets in Kenya, and for those in the diaspora, you can catch it on iTunes. Best thing of all, it will retail for the low, LOW price of 250 Kenya shillings! Considering the ultra-premium production quality that Camp Mulla put into their production, this is one of the biggest all-time bargains in terms of Kenyan music albums. Remember, this is a group who’s music has been recognized with nominations for the biggest international awards: the BET Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Music Of Black Origin Awards and Channel O Music Video Awards, all in one year.

Will Kenyans buy it? Remains to be seen, but from what we’re seeing on social media, guys think it’s a great offer. Seems like many people have been waiting, have been anxious for a price point like this. Some copies will be distributed at tomorrow’s Safaricom Sevens event. It is a 15 track album featuring several musical heavyweights both locally and internationally.
