VIDEO: Fan Appreciates Avril by Doing Sweet Piano Cover of Kitu Kimoja

Avril’s Kitu Kimoja is one of the most popular songs to come out this year. It has solidified Avril’s status as one of the biggest female artistes in the country.

The song was produced by Ogopa Deejays, which explains its pop-ish style, but as some covers have suggested, it would actually make a pretty good ballad.

A new cover by Robby Voice proves that. And it just made me like the song a little more. Robby is no Lang Lang but he plays the piano fairly well. Here’s a message from Robby Voice: “True fans would do such a thing for their local artistes and I really wanna support our 254 artistes so this one of my pieces of appreciation. I have never seen our bands do cover songs for them, vitu za majuu tu.”
