Good News: Kidero Lifts Ban On Alcohol at This Weekend’s Rugby Tournament

Dr. Evans Kidero faced the wrath of Kenyans on Twitter after he outlawed alcohol selling and drinking whether in cars or in the stadium during the upcoming Rugby tournament.

In a press conference held yesterday at City Hall, Kidero said that no imbibing of alcohol would be going down at the Kabeberi 7s rugby tournament and alcoblow devices would be used to identify those who went against the ban.

In a strange turn of events, Kidero has lifted the ban just a few hours after banning alcohol at the event. According to The Star Newspaper ,Kidero now wants “controlled and responsible alcohol consumption to protect the young lovers of Rugby because it is time we set sports and alcohol apart.”
