Mututho seems to be the name of the man Kenyans and those dwelling in Nairobi and it’s environs love to hate. If you were to land in Nairobi today and you checked out what was trending on the internets, you would be forgiven for thinking he was public enemy number one. But I suspect that Mututho knows that his stance on alcohol and now night clubs was going to make him unpopular.
But he has escalated his war by telling the nation that he intends to close upto 3,000 night spots in Nairobi if he can have his way. Needless to say, the news is anything but welcome to the ears of Nairobi, a city that loves it’s nocturnal activities and frothy drink.
