To my knowledge, these are the four events going down tonight that you need to know about.

1. Fena Gitu Live At Choices Baricho Road.

Fena Gitu To Play At Choices Tomorrow 11th April!

This event goes down tonight and it’s free! Yes it is. Fena owns her craft, she does it well, trust me I’ve seen her play. Her band consists of some of the best musicians in Nairobi so you shan’t be disappointed. For a more detailed description, read about that here.

2. Kombo and The Afro Simbo Band.

Now these guys have a very interesting melange of mwanzele, taarab, bango and reggae that you just have to hear to believe! They do it so effortlessly that you can’t help but sway to the beat, and sing along to the soothing melodies! A jig soon follows. They will be at Tree-House on Westlands Road up Museum Hill. Entry is absolutely free. Read about another awesome jazz gig to be held at Tree-House club soon here.

3. Project Shame At Shebeen Bar

Hosted by Martin Kariuki and music courtesy of Capital Fm’s deejays, entry is absolutely free so go on, shatter people’s eardrums! Nobody will judge you! You shall be disqualified if you sound like Beyonce, I’m just saying. I’m kidding.

Do You Croak? Then Say Yes To Project Shame!

4. Love By Shakespeare At Phoenix.

Usha Finds 'Love' In A 'Hopeless' Place?

This play features Mkamzee Chao Mwatela also known as Usha, Charles J. Ouda, Samson Psenjen & Jack Gitonga. It will run till the 20th of this month, which is next Saturday. While tickets are 500 kshs, students with a student ID pay 300 shs only. Read about the play in detail here.
