I know many of you are wondering what the #NyakundiMutokoFund is.
Well it’s a hashtag instigated by resident rabble–rouser Cyprian Nayakundi as a way of naming and shaming Kenya’s favorite journalist.
” Nominate your most mediocre Journalist using #NyakundiMutokoFund . Then a poll of five journos will be conducted in a week .Nominate your most mediocre journalist using #NyakundiMutokoFund with a brief description of their most mediocre work.I would urge other stakeholders who are equally disturbed by the appalling media standards in Kenya to perhaps chip in #NyakundiMutokoFund.” Nyakundi wrote.
The ones who will win get 10,000 Kshs from Nyakundi and the other 10,000 shillings from the amount Caroline Mutoko had given Cyprian Nyakundi.
No one has been spared from the online assault on journalists, not Maina Kageni,Hussein Mohammed or even poor Betty Kyallo, imagine!Who hates on Betty Kyallo surely?
